Chaibyte Studios

We are a small independent game studio, started in 2025 by Anshul Soni and Dev Sanjeev. We like games that are strange. Games that break a rule they were supposed to follow, or take an ordinary idea somewhere it has no business going.

What we make

We make unconventional games. The kind of idea that sounds like a mistake right up until you play it.

What we actually care about is making things that feel a bit wrong in a good way. A game that looks like software you shouldn't be running. A menu that behaves like it has opinions. An idea most studios would sand the edges off, kept sharp instead. If a concept makes us laugh and then makes us slightly uncomfortable, that is usually a sign we should build it.

We also like old computers. A lot of what we make borrows from that era on purpose: low resolution, heavy grain, chunky interfaces, the visual language of software from twenty years ago. Partly because we grew up with it, and partly because degraded images leave gaps, and people fill gaps with something worse than anything we could draw.

Every project we take on has to be its own strange thing. The Package is the first one, and it is horror. What comes after it will be something else entirely.

The Package

Our first title is a psychological horror game about a hitman on his last job. For nine years Final Mile Express has sent him whatever needed doing, from a parcel across town to a name and an address. He stopped asking which one he was getting a long time ago, and nine years of not asking has quietly taken its toll. On this last run it finally catches up with him.

It started as a joke about gig-economy work and turned into the thing we could not stop building. Read more about The Package.
